Series 5000 (3-car fixed formation, car length 18m)
Series 5000 is a type 6000 car which was transferred from Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau (Toei Subway Mita Line) in 1999 and manufactured by Aruna Koki in 1972. This series is the first Japanese railcars to use a stationary inverter (SIV) as an auxiliary power supply, and the body structure is semi-stainless steel with stainless steel outer panels and ordinary steel framework.
The interior also features a wood grain veneer, the first of its kind on a railway in the Kanto region. Chichibu Railway converted one car from 18m class 4-car formation to 3-car formation after converting it to a control car. Currently, 3 trains (5001F, 5002F, 5003F) are in service. |

Series 6000 (3-car fixed formation, car length 20m)
Series 6000 is a new 101 series 4-car triplet (12 cars) transferred from Seibu Railway in 2005, converted to cross-seat and operated as express train “Chichibuji”. The main controller is MMC-HTB-20E type resistance controller, the main electric motor is DC direct current winding electric motor, the drive unit is hollow shaft parallel cardan drive system, and the brake system is direct electromagnetic air brake with generator brake with speed brake (HSC-D). Currently, three trains (6001F, 6002F, 6003F) are in service, but Seibu New 101 Series 229F (6001F), 231F (6002F) and 233F (6003F) are the original trains. |

Series 7000 (3-car fixed formation, car length 20m)
The Series 7000 is a three-car formation of M1c (control electric car), T (accompanying car), and M2c (control electric car), converted from the Tokyu Series 8500 that was transferred from Tokyu Corporation in 2009. The main controller is equipped with an armature chopper control system with an increased number of control stages, and electric command brakes are used. Currently, two trains (7001F and 7002F) are in service. 7001F is Tokyu 8509F (Deha 8509, Saha 8950, Deha 8609) and 7002F is Tokyu 8709F (Deha 8709, Saha 8926, Deha 8809). |

Series 7500 (3-car fixed formation, car length 20m)
Series 7500 is operated by converting Tokyu Series 8090, which was transferred from Tokyu Corporation in 2010, into a 3-car formation of T1c (control), M1 (electric), and M2c (control electric) cars. The main equipment is the same armature chopper control and electric command type brake as the Series 7000 (Tokyu Series 8500). Currently, seven trains are in service.
7501F (Tokyu 8091F/Kuha 8092,Deha 8192,Kuha 8091), 7502F (Tokyu 8083F/Kuha 8084,Deha 8184,Kuha 8083), 7503F (Tokyu 8085F/Kuha 8086,Deha 8186,Kuha 8085), 7504F (Tokyu 8093F/Kuha 8094, Deha8194,Kuha8093), 7505F(Tokyu8095F/Kuha8096,Deha8196,Kuha8095), 7506F(Tokyu8095F/Kuha8096,Deha8196,Kuha8095), 7507F(Tokyu8089F/Kuha8090,Deha8190,Kuha8089) are the original composition It becomes. |

Series 7800 (2-car fixed formation, car length 20m)
Series 7800 was converted from Tokyu Series 8090 transferred from Tokyu Corporation in 2013 to a 2-car fixed formation (Formation 7801 [Tokyu 8290F/Deha 8490,Deha 8290]) at the Tokyu Techno Systems Nagatsuta Works.
The shape of the lead car is very different from that of Series 7500, which diverted the lead car of Series 8090, by converting the intermediate cars into the lead car (Deha 7800 and Kuha 7900) and removing the electrical components (Kuha 7900).
The operation of Series 7800 started on March 16, 2013, but there was a case that the train could not depart due to idling on a gradient.
This is mainly due to the fact that when the train stopped at “Urayamaguchi” station, which has a gradient in the uphill direction, it could not accelerate normally due to the oil that was dropped by the preceding Paleo Express train, and also due to the electrical release of Kuha 7900.
Now, it has returned to normal operation by installing the thickener injection device. |

C58 class steam locomotive (No.363)
|
|
The C58 class steam locomotive No.363 was manufactured by Kawasaki Sharyo (now Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.) in 1944 and operated by Japan National Railways (now JR East) until October 1972, when it was scrapped and displayed at Fukiage Elementary School in Kita-Adachi-gun, Saitama Prefecture.
In March 1987, it was decided to revive the train as the centerpiece of the 1988 Saitama Expo, and restoration work was carried out at the Omiya General Rolling Stock Center.
In December of the same year, it was transferred from JR East to Chichibu Railway and started irregular operation (for sightseeing) as “Paleo Express”, pulling 4 Series 12 coaches between “Kumagaya and Mibuguchi” station. |
